Put a card on the surface you want to test. Leave it there for 24 hours.
Photograph it
Open the app and take a photo of the card. It reads the color for you and adjusts for lighting and angle.
Track it
Save your results and watch how a space changes over time.
The science
How the color works
Each card holds a dye called resazurin. When living microbes are present, they react with the dye and change its color. The more growth there is, the more the color shifts.
